A Pre-Built Coreq College Algebra/Precalculus Course (Guest Post – Michael Sullivan)

Thanks to the Corequisite Support Team for giving me the opportunity to share my Corequisite College Algebra/Precalculus course.  The course materials are based on the Sullivan/Sullivan Precalculus: Concepts through Functions text published by Pearson Education.  At Joliet Junior College (Joliet, IL), we offer Precalculus I (Algebra) and Precalculus II (Trigonometry).  To help save students money, we use a single Precalculus text for the Corequisite course.  However, this course may also be used with the Sullivan/Sullivan College Algebra: Concepts through Functions text.

The corequisite support course includes a full text, videos, and MyLab exercises.  The text is based on Intermediate Algebra 4e by Michael Sullivan, III.  The videos are from Michael Sullivan’s classroom lectures.

The courseID for the course is sullivan-pearson79246.  The corequisite portion of the course has prebuilt media assignments with homework. The course also has prebuilt homework for the college-level course.  Each homework assignment has prerequisites established.  And, the course has practice exams along with mastery homework.

Should you have any questions about developing your corequisite course, feel free to email me at sullystats@gmail.com
